Which Dog Fence Should You Get?
Premium Dog Fence - We recommend this dog fence for any dog
that is 5 pounds or over. With five levels of programmable correction, this is
our most versatile and advanced receiver. You can increase or decrease the
correction to meet your pet's training needs. At level five, the Deluxe
Ultralight Receiver is strong enough for most stubborn dogs. The Deluxe
Ultralight Receiver also has a low battery indicator light to let you know
when to replace the battery. Approximate Receiver Size: 1.3 ounces - 2 1/8 x
3/4 x 3/4 inches. Extra batteries 2 in pack order RFA-67D-11
Stubborn Dog Fence - We recommend this dog fence if your dog
is over 30 pounds and is extremely stubborn or hard to train. The Stubborn
Dog Receiver has five levels of correction plus vibration in the
warning area for an added deterrent and a low battery light to let you
know when to replace the battery. Level five on the Stubborn Dog Receiver is
approximately 25% stronger than level five on the Deluxe Ultralight Receiver.
Some breeds need the Stubborn Dog Receiver even though they may not
necessarily be hard to train. Our experience has found the Labs, Shepherds,
Akitas and similar breeds often need the Stubborn Dog Receiver. This is
usually due to these breeds being less sensitive to the correction due to
thick Extra 9 volt batteries 2 in pack order RFA-9V
Standard Dog Fence - We recommend this dog fence if your dog
is 5 pounds or over and trains very easily. The Ultralight Receiver has
only one level of correction and does not have the low
battery indicator light. Approximate Receiver Size: 1.3 ounces - 2 1/8
x 3/4 x 3/4 inches. Extra batteries 2 in pack order RFA-67D-11

How Radio Fence Works
The Transmitter plugs into a standard outlet and emits a radio signal
that travels along an underground wire. You can adjust the signal to up to 15
feet from the wire. In most cases, a 4-6 foot signal field will be the best
for optimal training. The lightweight receiver worn on your pet's collar picks
up the radio signal and alerts him as he nears the underground boundary that
you have customized for your yard. When he approaches the boundary, he
receives a warning beep. If your dog does not return, he receives a static
correction which is startling but not harmful. Our maintenance free design and
ease of installation offers tremendous savings compared to conventional
fencing and other systems of this type.
Radio Fence® makes it easy to train your pet. By spending just 15
minutes a day working with your pet, he can be fully trained in a few days.
You can train as many dogs as you want on the same system, as long as they are
each wearing a receiver collar. Additional receivers are available if your
have more than one dog.
Radio Fence® offers the flexibility you need to solve your installation
needs. Bury the boundary wire underground approximately 1-2 inches deep. Using
your own design, you can protect your flower and seedbeds, shrubs, trees and
even swimming pools. The link below shows the most common ways to layout your
Radio Fence®, but there are almost endless ways of installing a system.

Safety features include:
Digitally coded signal to prevent false activation. Only our
transmitter can activate the receiver. Other brands' receivers can be
activated by Televisions, cordless phones, garage door openers, etc. We use
filters and coded signals to prevent this. Don't trust your pet's safety to
anything but a PetSafe Containment System
Receiver Fail-Safe. If your pet gets trapped in the correction
zone, the receiver will shut down after 20 seconds to prevent over correction
Built-in lightning and surge protection for storm-prone areas. If you
live in an area that is highly prone to lightning or surges, you may want to
consider our Lightning Protection Module. Regardless, your system is covered
under warranty against lightning or surge damage
Transmitter cover conceals range adjustment control to prevent tampering
